Liz Gokay duffy, community calendar commander & collaborator

Liz hails from Pennsylvania where she was raised to work with her hands and make and reuse things in an environmentally responsible way. While in LA earning her master's in Progressive Education, she grew a greater appreciation for the sustainability movement. Having settled in Durham with her family, she teaches Visual Art with Durham Public Schools, creates textile workshops and makes textile art, restores furniture, gardens, ferments veggies and thinks of more ways to make households more eco-friendly through DIY!
